Description
Reporting to the General Manager – Operations, you will be the Senior Executive – Occupational Health & Safety at the plant. You will deliver the expected Health & Safety standards for the plant as per local laws, customer and certification requirements.
Education
Recognition of Degree in Engineering / Science, Diploma in the field and Occupational Safety & Health/NIOSH or NEBOSH (Certificate)
Experience
- Atleast 2 (two) years experience working in Industrial Safety & Occupational Health at a reputed organization, with experience in the areas of Risk Analysis and Incident/Accident Investigation
- Must have strong time management skills and able to work under pressure Chemical background is an advantage
- Add on advantage Factory Compliance & fluency in English Industrial Safety & Health
- The Health & Safety Targets in accordance with the Factories Ordinance, Customer Compliance standards & OSHA/ISO standards to protect men & plant
- Specifically, attain the Health & Safety ability earmarked in the Factories Ordinance Client Compliance requirements OSHA/ISO criteria which is likely to keep your million-dollar plant and populace safety.
- Create action plans in line with the strategy defined by H & S vertical and ensure implementation of agreed actions by the plant with optimal utilization of available resources ensuring that these are delivered within the Budget allocated for Plant Health & Safety activities including trainings
- Ensuring that workplaces carry out periodic Health & Safety Inspections/Audit as per the specified Audit protocol and submit findings for Management meetings and recommendations, and ensuring improvement against Identified High Risk factors with recommended solutions submitted to Management for information and perusal.
- Make sure the right people are fit to cover for the areas they own, make your employees work with other stakeholders in building a safety culture via patterning designing and rolling out safety campaigns competitions
