Job Profile

Overseeing yard arrangements, warehouse operations, and outbound logistics operations in adherence to safety protocols 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing yard arrangement operation plans for maximum resource efficiency as per yard layout guidelines and other safety protocols (this will also include managing empty stock reconciliation)
• Handling stock management & transfer operations from Bond to LBCPLC stores to LBCPLC outside stores, maintaining buffer norms, FIFO limits, damaged stock management
• Developing and implementing strategies to maximize FG warehouse operations (layout, capacity, resource use, additional requirements, and supplier management) to meet defined optimization goals per square foot while ensuring strict adherence to all applicable safety standards
• Handling primary and secondary distribution
• (including routes and schedules) and monitoring empty bottle returns activity and transfers to the FG stores
• Overseeing and optimizing forklift operations of the FG stores to achieve ideal manpower management, roster control and fuel usage
• Proactively managing working conditions across outbound logistics to minimize any risks and hazards

REQUIREMENTS

■ A Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma specializing in logistics, supply chain management      or a related field

■ At least two years' experience in outbound logistics operations (preferably within the FMCG i                 industry)

■ Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in English and Sinhala)

■ A growth-oriented, dynamic, self-motivated mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced                   environment
