Vacancies exist for suitable Male / Female Commissioned Officers in the Regular / Volunteer Force of the Sri Lanka Air Force in the following Branches to be joined as Direct Entry Officers.

a. Aeronautical and General Engineering (Male).

b. Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (Male/Female).

c. Information Technology Engineering (Male/Female).

d. Logistics (Male).

e. Admin (Male/Female).

f. Civil Engineering (Male/Female).

g. Medical (Male/Female).

h. Dental (Male/Female).

j. Legal (Male).

k. Veterinary (Male/Female).

l. Agriculture (Male).

m. Performing Arts (Male).

n. Education (Male/Female)

p. Audit (Male)

BASIC ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

a. Nationality : Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka

b. Civil Status : Married / Unmarried

c. Age : All Branches (Except for Specialist Medical Officer).

 For Male 18-33 years and for Female 18-35 years as at 01 January 2025 for the 01st Batch   for year 2025.

 For Male 18-33 years and for Female 18-35 years as at 01 June 2025 for the 02nd Batch     for year 2025.

 Specialist Medical Officer

 Should not be more than 40 Years

d. Height Male - 165 cm (5’ 5”) and above

    Female - 160 cm (5’ 3”) and above

e. Weight : Male - 17 < BMI < 26

     Female - 17 < BMI < 25

f. Chest : Minimum 32” (Male)

g. Colour Vision Standard : CP2

h. Visual Acuity : Left eye 6/6 and right eye 6/6 (Without spectacles / Contact Lenses)

    Medical / Dental Branches 6/18 in each eye (Corrected visual acuity with

    spectacle should be 6/6 in each eye)
